Ugly, low-performing dogs find tolerance in the cat community

A ULPD relaxes next to a cat that does not care about them.

Our polling suggests that ugly and low performing dogs (ULPDs) feel at home among the cats of Buckman and Sunnyside neighborhoods. “They don’t ask me if I can catch, or how fast I can run, or invade my space. I can just sit among them, and they leave me alone,” says one ULPD that would prefer to stay anonymous. “It is true that cats do not care about dogs,” shared a local butterscotch cat who we met flipping and flopping on Main Street. We asked them to elaborate and they replied, “No, that’s it. I personally could not care about another dog or cat’s feelings, to be honest. You’re boring me, this interview is over.” And then they just scampered away.
