Stop Getting Lost Campaign is met with cynicism and stubbornness
Cat in bowtie (a representative from the Stop Getting Lost campaign) says “Stop getting lost!” Mr. Man replies, “You’ll never understand my unquenchable thirst for life and the unknown!”
Have you noticed an uptick in lost cats in the past few months? So have the cats and concerned parents pushing the Stop Getting Lost campaign, which aims to educate lost-inclined cats on how to stay found. The campaign utilizes the CUTI (Patootie) protocol:
· C: Wear a collar with up-to date information.
· U: Be unstupid and uncurious. Do not chase that thing.
· T: Territories should be modest.
· I: Inside is typically the safest place you can be, but be mindful of fickle window screens.
Our more freedom-seeking neighbors argue that they would rather be chronically lost than miss out on the adventures and perils just outside their territory. Mr. Man, who has been lost and found twice in the last month, admitted to us that he’s just looking to party. While some admonish his recklessness, we admittedly find it endearing and impassioned!
