“The only mean bone in my body was the end of my tail”: Chicken’s Partial-Tail Amputation Story
Beastie rests in her fabulous tube of healing.
August was a month of healing for Chicken, who lost the end of her tail after a nightmare window accident. Besides healing her wound, she’s also been mending her relationship with windows. “I’m brave and strong and the only thing that scares me is the noise of the window closing,” said Chicken, “but aside from that, I continue to sniff my fresh air from the windowsill every day.” When asked if she missed her tail, she responded, “The tip of one’s tail is overrated AF. Honestly, I feel cuter and lighter without it! Someone said the only mean bone in my body was the end of my tail, and I really resonate with that.” Chicken’s human would like to remind everyone to be careful around door hinges and windows! Besides being very elegant and flirtatious, cat tails are also very delicate!
